Very clear

We need some rain! River is getting very low and clear. Lighter tippets and smaller flies are the trick. The fish are getting spooky, and the blue wing olives are hatching hot and heavy most mornings. Nymphs will catch a lot of fish, running woollies to catch smallies too. Easy fishing honestly lately. Plenty of stockers in the river, big thank you to Jim Hinkle fish hatchery for keeping plenty of trout in the river. The hatchery is the only cold water hatchery in Arkansas owned by Agfc. They stock all of the trout rivers in Arkansas. The way the trout are raised in the hatchery in silos, makes the rainbows super aggressive when hitting the fly. Fun, fun, fun!

Little murky

River looks good, it has remained low but it does have a murky look to it. Did not matter this week so far. Wore them out on olive woollies and y2ks, it does slow in afternoon when it starts warming u
