Spring River Flies and Guides is the sole fly fishing outfitter and guide service located one the Spring River in North Central Arkansas. Owned and operated by Mark Crawford, Spring River Flies and Guides provides half- and full-day fly fishing float trips.
We primarily target rainbow trout, but it is not uncommon to have opportunities at brown trout and black bass.
With over 14-years guiding on the Spring River, our guides have the experience and knowledge to ensure you have an enjoyable and successful fly fishing experience, regardless of your fishing experience.
Mark's Fly Shop is your one-stop shop for fly fishing gear on the Spring River. We offer custom fly designs, hand wrapped fly rods, fly tying material, and most likely anything else you may need to fish the Spring River.
The Shop is located off Highway 63, three miles south of Mammoth Spring. Consistent with our philosophy of protecting and preserving the beauty of the Spring River, the fly shop operates off-the-grid, and was custom built by Mark and his friends and family.

The Spring River is a freestone river originating at Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. Flowing at over nine million gallons of 58-degree water per hour, the river provides ideal habitat for various sport fish to include rainbow trout, brown trout, small mouth bass and large mouth bass.
Spring River Flies and Guides is dedicated to the conservation of the Spring River. We promote catch-and-release fishing in the hopes that the fishery will realize its potential as a world-class trophy trout river.
