Spring River Flies and Guides is the sole fly fishing outfitter and guide service located on the Spring River in North Central Arkansas. Owned and operated by Mark Crawford, Spring River Flies and Guides provides half- and full-day fly fishing float trips.
With over 18-years guiding on the Spring River, our guides have the experience and knowledge to ensure you have an enjoyable and successful fly fishing experience. Our trips can be tailored to your fishing ability. Whether you are new to fly fishing or an experienced angler, our guides will ensure you'll have an enjoyable and safe day on the Spring River.
Our Hyde drift boats provide a stable, comfortable and safe fishing platform and allow our guides to access portions of the Spring River that are not accessible by wading and to cover the majority of the river system that is habitable to trout.
NOTE: Valid Arkansas fishing licenses and trout permits are required and are not provided. We practice catch-and-release! Arkansas Fishing licenses may be purchased online at the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission website.
HALF-DAY TRIP
$300.00
Approx. 4-hour float trip for one or two anglers. Includes use of fly rods and flies. Non-alcoholic beverages provided.
FULL-DAY TRIP
$400.00
Approx. 8-hour float trip for one or two anglers. Includes use of fly rods and flies. Lunch and non-alcoholic beverages provided.

Soon after Shawn started fly fishing, he dove into the art of fly tying and spends hours behind the vice, tying everything from size 18 Midges to large articulated streamers. Shawn is definitely the streamer junkie of the group and chances are on his days off he's probably on the water with an 8wt in his hands, chucking meat at the banks, hunting for the big brown trout that live in the Spring River.
