The bite!

Last 3 days were a perfect example of life for a guide. Sunday and Monday were very tough. Fish were short striking or just not biting at all. Cool temps but high pressure fronts and sunny. Tuesday rolls around and is cool and cloudy and wow! We had some excellent catching. Just never know with these fish. Just wish we could all get along...

River is looking great. Lots of moss but hasn't been a problem. Fish the clear runs. Thats what they are watching. Woollies have been dominantly hot. On the really tough days a y2k with some kind of dropper seems the most productive, but olive wollies sometimes saves the day. We are really starting to see better fish that the high water from earlier in the year has been hiding. Should be a perfect fall season.
