Still off

The spring is running at 430 cfs, thats up about a foot making for tougher wading. Water clarity has been poor with the spring murked up still from last weeks rain. Stprms moved thru overnight not helping things.

Steve and I floated on Wednesday and it took awhile to find what they wanted. The hot fly was a crackleback on a sinktip or a pheasant tail nymph. Steve did not have a sink tip and used split shot to get the fly down. No hots on streamers or y2ks which should have been hot. Caught some on white lightning below indicator too, caught 2 smallies with that set up. Had to get down and with the river up it was not easy.

Things should clear up and be fine by weekend. I have a trip Saturday and hope to post some good fish pics.
