Ok, so I had a few days off and got back on the water today with a young couple wanting to learn. The river below dam 3 was choked with vegetation. Was tough to get the fly down. I pushed on down and got clear water at bayou. Then we started catching the fish. Olive woollies and El diablos were the hot flies. As we pulled out, the hatchery truck drove up.... should be great fishing this weekend.
Water levels are at 340 cfs and water clarity is murked up a little. No rain in the forecast and nice temps will make for some great days on the water!
