The river has been at 320 cfs and water clarity is clear. Chuck and I tried to do a smallie trip on the lower and we about got stuck on a few of the falls. And worse we didn't catch any smallies big enough for a photo. I caught a much bigger one today on the trout stretch. So no go on smallie trips till we get some rain. But no worries I can get ya into some on the trout trip. Just gotta fish for them!
The trout have been tough on some days but we are still catching some big fish. White lightning and a big olive woolly can work for the big ones. There are a bunch of smaller rainbows and browns that can be so much fun with hopper dropper action.
Benjamin is back fr Alaska and ready to guide. Hunter has been guiding 2-3 days a week too. I am booked up until November. If ya wanna go with me chasing big fish in November and December then ya better get on my calendar now.
