Small nymphs

I know I'm always pushing y2ks but that didn't work for us this week. Small nymphs and midges were producing numbers. We had some bigger fish on woollies but not many strikes. Gonna be cold next few weeks! Stay dry! And layer up. The river is at 373 cfs,350 avg, and clarity has been poor with a heavy pea soup green tint.

Ken Holland, fellow trout bum, has been teaching Hunter the fine art of rod building. It has been fun watching them work together. To be able to wrap a rod blank transforming it into a magical tool that can take you to the far reaches of your imagination is just way cool! Hopefully over the next year we will be able to have rod building and fly tying classes at the fly shop. I will post any events we have. This year will be all about working on the fly shop to get it up and running. We will be getting electric and inventory if I can find it. Amanda has new hats and t-shirts coming in the next few weeks.

Tight lines and thank you all for your support!!

Mark
