Slowly clearing

Doing well catching the last few days. Its been all about getting down deep. On the fly a heavy woolly bugger has been hot. On spin gear, trout cranks and berkley flicker shad have been hot. The crank baits are great for catch and release too. Just remember to have a good heavy pair of fishing pliers.

River is taking its sweet time clearing up. Its slowly dropping this week too. About 3 inches a day. Its still up about a foot. The river is full of fish. Just gotta get down to them. Even caught this beautiful smallie!

Benjamin had a couple of fly fishers on Wednesday and they really got into the trout. Heavy woollies was the ticket.
