The river has a good green tint to it. It's up about 6 inches from before the rain. Fishing was tough today. No good reason for it, just a sunny blue bird day. We did catch a few and 1 was big. White lightning was the fly of the day, and they were not tearing it up. Full moon might have messed up the bite.
There are still a lot of leaves falling. Windy days are a pain with many leaves being landed. The bigger fish are definitely moving. If ya wanna catch a big fish ya gotta fish for a big fish. White lightning, grandma's brownie, and a big y2k can be the ticket. This nice bow today was safely released.
