River flows are up making for tough wading and making it harder to get the fly down. We have been using extra weight when tying flies lately. Got to get it down to where the trout are. A sink tip or split shot above the fly both work to help keep the fly down. Y2ks and the orange blossom are still hot on float trips. We had a great day one day on a red tailed woolly worm. They ate it up that day but not the next. The the bite is off a nymph dropper behind a y2k will get the strikes. We need to dry out for awhile.
