Storm last night was rough, lots of lightning but apparently not that much rain. Looks like less than a half inch. River is looking good! I will be guiding next several days and hope to be posting some good pictures. Many thanks to Jim Hinkle fish hatchery for stocking really good size trout every week during these crazy times. While everyone is staying home and being safe the trout are building up in numbers. With a 12 inch avg size now the catching has been excellent.
The river needs to come down more for the smallmouth. We are catching them on warm sunny days. I have not done the smallmouth trip yet this year due to the high water. Summer is just around the corner. Sunny days should clear up all of our problems...
