Really nice!

Oh my we could use some rain, but it has been so nice having the river get lower. Still plenty of trout. We catch and release and your welcome! All of the pictures and videos were released as safely as possible back into the water. If ya want a trophy trout and smallmouth bass river ya gotta put back the good fish until there are too many huge fish. Then we can reevaluate....

Anyways, still lots of bows with numbers dropping out in public areas. Waiting for a certain catch rate to start stocking again.

The smallies are biting great. Streamer fishing of course works but to be honest we are catching our best below a big Ole hopper. And when they hit that we all scream!!

For streamers, clousers, sculpins or just big heavy woolies are great. Just gotta get them down and drag along the bottom. And dont forget a smallie that is over 18inches could be over 15 years old. Please let him grow some more.

We are not seeing walleye with all the food in the river, but once things thin out I will be out trying to catch some. Night time may be the answer...
