Prime Time

This is the time of year we catch the huge rainbows that survive from the summer stocking. If ya fished the Spring River long enough ya know that it can grow some huge trout. So many baitfish and food sources makes for short fat trout. We hooked up with 2 donkeys on Sunday. Caught so many bows that were just fat and sassy. Great fishing on the Spring right now. If ya enjoy it, Catch and Rekease. Keep some big ones in there. Heck they may get bigger.

We did well stripping woollies and had some great chases to the boat with cloud cover. Mid morning, y2ks, and yes the big ones hit my big Ole y2ks. The proof is in the pudding!

So it's cold out. Layer up or better yet go heated, we wear vest and jackets that are heated. Seats are still cold tho....

Tis the season to catch big fish, big rainbows till Jan 1st, then prime time Brown trout and Smallie bass time! Colder the better....
