The river is looking great. A little above average flows of 370cfs, 350 avg. Water clarity has a good green tint to it.
The last 2 days has been tough to get a bite. Really no reason for it, always stick with y2ks or olive woollies when it just seems like the fish are not biting. On Friday we worked a big white streamer and caught a nice largemouth bass.
Cold over night and temps in the 50's during the day makes for perfect conditions this time of year. Seeing plenty of big rainbows and we are landing some. Got to be patient and persistent to catch the big ones. Y2ks, white lightning, and olive woollies can be great for bigger trout. They trnd to like the bigger food choices. But of course small nymphs can be good somedays.
