Perfect conditions

Had great floats all week. Had a few days we had to fight the leaves but dang the big fish are coming out! Tis the season to catch! On the tough days a y2k dropper with a smaller white lightning or nymph pattern works fantastic. I got to say most of the bigger fish have been on eggs patterns, a couple of browns with my clients has been on a guppie pattern, but hard to beat a big Ole y2k for really big trout.

The river remains very low and clear. Still in need of some rain. Lighter tippet can help but be careful for when that big fish hits, we have broke off some big fish this week. Let him run!!

All fish are safely caught and released!
