Meetings

Agfc will be having public meetings discussing the new trout management plan. I have been trying to get us a catch and release area in town to try and get some big hold overs on the river to help promote our town and put us on the map as a trophy trout stream. There are no plans with AGFC for any more C&R areas. I was part of several meetings helping with the new trout plan, and many of us there asked for more C&R areas on our trout streams. Out of 145 miles of trout waters in Arkansas only 3.5 miles is catch and release on the white river.
