Low and clear

The river looks great! The river is flowing out of the spring at 325 cfs and water clarity is clear. Had a great float last Sunday. Over 50 fish landed and wow, we lost a couple of big fish. They were camera shy... Y2ks and olive woollies were hot.

Some of the hottest fishing for brown trout and smallmouth usually happens during January and February. The nastier the weather, the bigger the fish. Its important to stay dry and layer up. Plenty of openings! I am booked this weekend and will be going after some big fish pics for everyone.

Merry Christmas from all of us to all of you!
