Low and clear

Getting just enough rain to keep the ground wet, need more rain. River remains low and clear, making for a tough time to float. The Nrs slipstream has had no problems getting down the river, but I am not using a drift boat for awhile.

Catching plenty of bows with the hatchery stocking nice fish, few big browns out there if you can get them to bite. Low snd clear has made for tough high sun days, and fantastic overcast days. Generally fishing smaller flies with nymphs and few dries working. Overcast smaller streamers are a blast, quarter down stream with a fast strip back. That can be fun!

Smallie stretches are fishing fantastic one day tough the next. They are there, fish slow and deep!
