Little rain

Sunday morning and we are getting some rain showers. The river has been low and clear and the area has been very dry. We needed the rain. Been slow and steady so I don't see it affecting the weather.

Labor day weekend keeps me off the water this time of year. After this weekend the canoe hatch will come to a close. From Oct 1st to April 1st most of the canoe rentals shut down for their season.

Catching has been really good with pink worms being really hot for numbers and big woollies for the smallies. Great fishing conditions with the river getting lower this last week. Weather next week has cooler temps and great weather. Fish on!
