Labor day weekend

Well it's the last big party of the season. I'm gonna let the wild bunch have the river this weekend and will be back to guiding after Monday. After this weekend the floats will slow to a stop and we get the river all to ourselves for the rest of the year!

The river is very low and clear, we need some rain. I have been using the fly craft to get down the river. Getting too low for my driftboat. This week has been much cooler, the trout are biting but with the low clear conditions they have been hitting hard and throwing the hook. Cracklebacks and Eldiablos have been hot for me, the trout will hit the heck out of y2ks but wouldn't hold on. Catching plenty but gotta work for them! They stocked Thursday.
