Ground breaking!!

Jim Hinkle fish hatchery was the center of attention on Thursday with a lot of very important people there for a ground breaking ceremony. A reconstruction of the hatchery will start and the large silos that are used to raise the trout will be replaced with bigger and better silos for increased capacity and also for flexibility in raising other trout like tiger trout. The new system will also have a uv filtration system that will help keep diseases out of the hatchery. It is a big deal for the area and all of the trout rivers in Arkansas.

Not sure how long construction will take but I will be giving updates as it progresses.
