Great morning!

Wow we caught a lot of trout on cicadas and woolly droppers. Almost didn't go out due to a rain shower this morning,, it passed and the sun came out. The river is up some and poor clarity but that did not seem to matter to the fish. All of this high water and bad weather has the trout stacked up! No monsters today, but high numbers of mean hatchery trout!

This weekend is the first big canoe hatch of the season. I will not be back on the water until Tuesday after the big canoe hatch is over. From now till September always try to fish during the week or on Sunday, I will not be guiding on Saturdays thru the summer. Now if ya wanna get up early and start at daylight, and be off the water by 11am, then ya can fish on Saturdays before the canoe hatch ramps up. The guys would be glad to take ya early on Saturdays but not me, I plan on being in the shop on Saturdays 9-noon this summer.
