Great day!

I had a first time fly fisher in the boat today and we had a blast. Several rainbows on y2ks, orange blossoms and olive woollies. Good times.
Now the river is flowing strong at 530 cfs, 350 avg, at the Spring and water clarity has been heavily green stained. Great for streamer fishing but little tougher for getting down to the fish. The constant rain lately has been a bummer. A dry spell would fix things right up! Until that happens, get out your sink tips and split shot!
Friday we got out throwing sink tips and we did not catch many and I know the guys pulled some shoulder muscles but we did land two fine specimens! The brown was caught on my famous Grandma's Brownie, the smallmouth was caught on a orange cone head yellow rabbit strip fly I tied late one night. The last pic is of Gabe with his first trout. The guys were very happy with three PBs!
