Got some rain

We got some much needed rain. Overall less than an inch at the Spring. Water flow went from 300 cfs to 330 cfs. Not much of an increase. Water clarity is off some, kinda got a pea soup green tint to it. I spent some time at dam 1 playing and caught a few on white lightning. It really stood out in the green water.

I know I have been pushing the big white fly a lot for bigger fish, and I got to see why at dam 1. Something had caught a bunch of shad and they were laying on the bank. That's all I'm trying to imitate. The Spring River is full of shad and all kind of other baitfish too. Pic is of shad by white lightning and pic of dam 1.
