Getting there

Water is running at 580 cfs, 350 avg and water clarity was poor today. The river still had a brown stain this morning. We went anyway and caught a bunch of rainbows. Hot fly was olive, brown woollies,, and one woolly with a hot pink tail. We did have to work to get the fly down. And that made all the difference. Dont be afraid to put a small split shot above the fly about 6-10 inches. Just be careful casting. It can get ya!
