Hunter, Benjamin and I had a great afternoon with a great family on Saturday for a afternoon float. It did start out sunny and bright at about 1 pm. There was no bites for the first 2 hrs and I was getting nervous big time. I went thru the flies. At about 3 pm I tied on some Y2ks and it was on! For the rest of the float everyone was catching fish. I think it was the sun light. As the evening advanced cloud cover had moved in. We were off the river at 5:30 and it was dark! Out of 6 people in 3 boats everyone got to catch fish and everyone was laughing and having a great time!

We still need rain. River is very low and clear. On the sunny days we are trying lighter tippet to see if they maybe line shy in the clearer than normal water conditions.
