Dry and hot

I came back home to a heat wave, no rain and Temps at 100. The river is dropping over the last week to 500 cfs, 350 avg, making for easier wading and water clarity has been clear. Going out today and will give a report.

Venice Florida was awesome, but thunderstorms all weekend made the fishing not so hot. No hook up on the fly and a few saltwater catfish on bait. Never used live shrimp before, they have horns! Never knew.....
