Overnight Friday there were a lot of dangerous storms moving thru the area. At Mammoth Spring we had no storms and hardly any rain. The rain missed us again.
We have been having a great week on the water. Friday the bite was on for white lightning and we caught a bunch of rainbows but oh my the trout were short striking. We might have landed 50 fish but had a 100 strikes. I hate it when the fish hits at it but don't want to commit!
On Friday it was 73' and this morning it is 40' for a high and very windy. We need some consistent cold weather to get the big bows moving. Next 2 days should be good times.
The river is low and clear!! Need rain.
