Closed Friday, open Saturday

Hunter and I will be out of town tomorrow, but we will both be in the shop on Saturday. We are putting up a new sign, the ground is hard so anyone wanting to help dig post holes come on by!

The river looks great! We have had no rain for a bit now and the river has dropped down and cleared up. Bugs are hatching all day long. Nymphs and dries can work on different days. The trout have been hitting bugs and crayfish and minnow patterns too. Y2ks on the tough days like today a pink San Juan was the ticket. Had to get to the bottom and they would hit it.

The smallmouth are hitting great on crawfish and minnow patterns. The smallies have also been on the bottom. I guess with the heat on the cold water at the bottom feels good. When going after smallies watch for minnows busting, we have been seeing a lot of that on the river. Make sure and throw in there to catch a bass or brown.

Great time with the guys with Smallmouth Tour 2022! Another class is planned for July, check it out and join the class. It is a lot of knowledge on smallies in two days! Little video of my view. I am very sorry for my commentary! Too much coffee....
