Clear water

The river is low and clear and we could use a rain. Had a great morning with 2 young men catching a bunch of trout. Y2ks and orange blossoms were working great, the hot fly was a new pattern called black and gold. It was sunny and in the slow spots it was all about getting the fly down to get a bite. If your not hanging bottom occasionally, ya may not be getting down.

Hoping to get some rain today. Not much in the forecast.
