Had a little rain on wed night, 290 cfs, did great today. Caught a really nice smallie right in front of Cedar Valley Resort. Floated from there to Many Islands on Tuesday and had a blast catching everything, panfish, rock bass, smallies and trout. Fun, fun ,fun! River looks good.

Last 2 days been from dam 3 to Cedar Valley and the catching has been fun! Ji Hinkle is foing a great job of stocking really nice fish. A busy weekend can clean a stretch out quick, but that's why I dont give away all my sweet spots. We catch and release everything except walleye... they actually eat trout and just happen to be delicious. We like to let trout and smallies go, so they can grow!

A big hopper with pink worm or olive woolly for panfish and rock bass, they ate them up, with a smallie here and there. So much fun. On Wednesday a pink tail wolly was the fly for one heck of a day. On Thursday, Grandma's Brownie caught over 7 smallies and a lot of bows. Needless to say I'm tying brownie tonight.

I am so busy guiding that the fly shop is closed. I am there most mornings and after trips. Please text me to book trips or for flies. 870-955-8300
