The river remains low and clear! We had a great time on Saturday, with a brown woolly getting attacked early in the day by a big brown. We did not get his picture.... Shawn had a half day float and his guys caught a nice smallie on the same day.

Lately fish streamers if it's overcast and punch to the bottom and stay there on the bright sunny days. Tight lining woollies and small streamers have been a blast when they are chasing, but most days, gotta get down to the bottom. An indicator set up with egg and a dropper. Having a lot of luck with small minnow patterns below the egg or nymphs on other days. The water is so low and clear ya really want to hunt for them to really chase the big trout. It can be hard to spot them, just watch for big dark shapes that move when your fly goes by. Might take a few extra presentations to get those big fish to bite. We are fishing really slow and persistent!
