Well we fished right out in front of the storms today. Got off the water at 7:30pm, storms hit 7:35!! We have had a lot of rain the last few hours just above town. The river will may blow out overnight. It looked great today. I will have a river report first thing in the morning.
Had 2 great guys from St Louis and we tore em up on a Hopper with pats rubber legs dropper. Only few hits on Hopper but they ate Pat's runner legs up! The river has a lot of grass and moss floating from rains early Thursday morning. We couldn't really swing the flies, so Hopper dropper let us fish in and around the junk floating down. The bite was on and we actually landed a huge bow. Lot of small bows and 1 cute little brown trout. Good stuff!!
