Beat the heat

The river is looking so good lately. No major rain in awhile has the river levels dropping to avg flow. Water clarity is clear and the trout are biting. Y2ks and olive woollies have been hot last few days. If its sunny out, ya gotta get the fly down. If your hanging up and losing flies then your in the right spot. Flies tied on jig hooks have become popular for working the river bottom with less chance of hanging up.

Get out and enjoy a beautiful river that maintains a constant temp of 58' degrees year round. Wet wading is the way to go this time of year. A good pair of water shoes or sandals will work great, but be safe, its slick out there...
