Bass day

We did the middle float for bass on Monday, but crappy weather made it tough. We floated lower stretch for bass today and caught a bunch of nice size trout, about 10 smallies no monsters, about 6 rock bass, couple largemouth and one monster size 4ft gar!!! It was so big I didn't know what to do. I slid the net over it's head and he was gone. Chuck said what the heck was that! A Gar!!!! Big gar!

So far river looks good, flowing strong at 500 cfs and green clarity. I will report asap if river goes brown.
