Had a great morning on the water today. We floated from dam 3 to bayou and the bite was on. Caught high numbers on woollies, mainly olive. The river is still up and flowing strong. Looks like be tough wading, wading staff a must.

Water flow at the Spring is 540 cfs and water clarity is poor. The warm fork has cleared up and now the Spring it self is starting to clear up. The trout had no trouble finding the fly. It did warm up and the bite slowed little at noon. Had to get down deeper.

I'm booked up, so more fish to come. The hatchery took a hard hit and waiting on info on it. The area is closed as they work on it. A lot of fish got into the river system and it should be great fishing for awhile.

The campgrounds are open and after all the clean up will be ready for business! I know I have been off the water too long.

I'm back!
