Access is open

The work was completed today at the dam 3 access, it is open. I snuck past this morning and wow what a great day with my guppy and minner/eyelash yarn pattern. We did try bugs and woollies but the rainbows wanted the minnow patterns today. Big hatch of caddis and midges around us all day had the bait fish in a feeding frenzy and the trout were picking them off. Swinging the flies just below the surface. They were hitting so hard and fast they were jumping in the air. Heck we got to watch on bow hot the fly do a somersault and spit a real minnow into the air. Crazy!

River looks fantastic, storms move thru tonight and should be over by morning. We do plan on. Chasing browns with streamers as long as the river holds and doesn't get murked up. I will post on Facebook and Instagram early in the morning.
